Dear Friend of Pastoral Counseling Centers of Tennessee: For 20 years we have provided a place for all to come to find the help, hope and healing so many seek for their lives. This is a place where all can feel safe and accepted…a haven for hurting souls. As a child, “Janice” is beaten, kicked, and locked in her room for hours. Isolated and scared, she is forced to urinate and defecate wherever she can in the prison of her room. I call this extreme physical and emotional abuse. My label, “abuse,” is shocking to her, even at 37 years old. With nobody to tell her differently she still believes the abuse is all her fault. As a pastoral counselor, my task is to patiently develop an emotionally safe relationship in which “Janice” can experience a more grace-filled re-parenting. The training as a therapist and the symbolic role of the minister as a broker of God’s grace, allows me to ply a trade through which the Perfect Parent (God) heals the deep, dark wounds and gives “Janice” back her life. We need your financial gift. We provide our services to all even if they are unable to pay the full cost for care. There is unique value in the service we provide. We are the only pastoral counseling center in Tennessee accredited by the American Association of Pastoral Counselors. We cannot provide our services without your financial help. You can make a difference in the lives of real people with real needs. Perhaps your current or former employer will match your gift. Please check with your Human Resources Department for a Matching Gift Form. Attached you will find a pledge card for your convenience. Thank you. Gratefully, Chris O'Rear and Chrissa Walsh Interim Co-Executive Directors P.S. Visit our website at www.Pcctinc.org <http://www.PCCTinc.org>. Volunteer
Opportunities The reception areas in each of our locations need attendants. Some centers need help during the day and into the early evening. Other centers need help only after office hours. Attendants would be responsible for greeting and directing clients, as well as answering the telephones. Offering hospitality and added safety to our centers are significant contributions in our volunteer efforts. If you would like to donate your time and talents to the Pastoral Counseling Centers please contact us at Contributing@PCCTinc.org. Gifts
and Contributions Your contribution will help to support an individual's, couple's or family's efforts to receive the help and healing they need - a help they would otherwise not be able to afford. If you would like to make a contribution to the Pastoral Counseling Centers of Tennessee through the mail please contact us at Contributing@PCCTinc.org click here to view our Spring solicitation letter.
